Heat Kernel Signature
We implement our own method for comparing 3D models, using the heat kernel signature (HKS), originally described by Sun et al.1 We compute the HKS from an approximation of the Laplace-Beltrami operator, obtained from the Laplacian matrix. We plot the results of the HKS on 3D models and devised a distance method to compare them.
This project was implemented in C++ and C#.
